Redcentric, a leading UK IT managed services provider, has announced the completion of its integration of the City Lifeline data centre business.
City Lifeline operates one of the best-connected data centres in London, and its acquisition is a key part of Redcentric’s strategy for operational growth and geographical reach. The staff and site at Shoreditch will further strengthen an existing infrastructure of owned data centres in Harrogate, Reading and Cambridge together with a national fibre network.
Fraser Fisher, Chief Executive Officer of Redcentric, commented;
“City Lifeline is a great addition to our network of data centres, something we’ve been seeking in London for a while. As well as giving us an invaluable footprint in the capital, it also provides significant expansion capacity. That is essential given the increasing scale and velocity of our sales pipeline into both the private and public sectors. It means we can deliver – and continue to deliver – our first-class end-to-end managed portfolio, backed up by one of the most extensive, experienced and established data centre networks in the UK.”
Following the integration, Redcentric now employs over 500 staff and serves over 2,000 leading commercial and public sector customers across markets including healthcare, education, retail, hospitality, telecoms, manufacturing, financial and professional services.
