We recently ran a ‘Night Drive’ event for customers, friends and partners at the London based Classic Car Club, in conjunction with our SIP Trunking partner, Gamma.

This exhilarating evening saw our guests enjoy a three hour driving experience around the streets of London and out to Epping Forest in a variety of amazing cars - taking in many of the capital’s iconic landmarks and sights on the way, as well as a traditional fish and chip supper of course!

Chris Spicer of Citrus Telecom & Roger Keenan of City Lifeline, with the 1973 Rolls-Royce Corniche convertible

The cars on offer are kept a close secret until the day, but we were delighted to discover that the Club’s fleet includes such motoring icons as a 1975 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, a 1959 Jaguar XK150, a 1964 Jaguar E-Type, a 1971 Lotus Elan+2, a 1977 Porsche 911 3.0 Carrera, a 1983 Ferrari 308GTSi and a 1965 Mercedes 230SL Pagoda - amongst others.

How often to you get to drive a classic Rolls-Royce, a Jaguar XK150 and a Volvo P1800 (the old “Saint” car for those who remember Roger Moore when he was young!) all in the same evening?

The evening was guided by the Classic Car Club’s team and support vehicles, to make sure that everything ran smoothly and no-one got lost, leaving all City Lifeline’s guests to enjoy the power and the thrill of these legendary machines!

A quite brilliant evening, and one we’ll be sure to do again.
