Cooling

Cooling is a critical facility for hosted servers and telecommunications equipment and for any colocation data centre. For consistent, reliable, high-integrity services, equipment must operate within its optimum temperature and humidity envelope at all times.

Fully redundant chillers

Cooling throughout the colocation data centre is via multiple independent sets of modular inverter-driven direct expansion (DX) chillers. In common data centre rack areas the chillers are duplicated, fully redundant N+1 systems, with each set specified to handle more than the whole of the heat load. Colocation suites are built to individual customer requirements, and have the cooling systems, margins and levels of redundancy that the customer specifies.

Reliable environment

The cooling systems ensure your server hosting or colocated telecoms equipment is always operating within its optimum environmental conditions. The environment is immune to any failure in the cooling systems or the electrical feeds to them. It just works and you don’t have to worry about it.
